A Beautiful Nordic Center Summer Wedding

Are you thinking about getting married at the Nordic Center in Canmore? You'll definitely want to check out this blog! This beautiful summer Canmore wedding has gorgeous photos were shot by our associate Meghan and video from our in house Calgary Videographer Mike.

Canmore Wedding


It was a beautiful, hot day in Canmore. Nicole and Jairus' wedding was at the Canmore Nordic Center where we shot some photos nearby. They had their first look before the ceremony at Tree Island. Their nephews were the ring bearers and they were SUPER cute in their little grey vests and powder blue ties. Nicole and Jairus were just so easy going and relaxed. They clearly enjoy each other and were both just really excited to get married and see each other. He hadn't even seen her dress before the first look, so they were both really excited! They both said that they would probably start crying, but they did pretty good at holding back the tears.



Nordic Center Wedding


The ceremony was beautiful! Nicole's dress was so gorgeous with all of the lacing details and her hairstyle was just so cute! After the ceremony we did family photos and a few more photos with the wedding party on Tree Island and by the reservoir. Their reception was at the Nordic Center. They had a nice meal with close friends and family. A bunch of people came in from Ontario just to support them and be with them. Afterwards, we popped out while the sun was setting to get a few more photos by the water and get some fresh air.



Nicole and Jairus really love golfing together and are heading out on their honeymoon to do six golf courses throughout BC all the way over to the island. Their first date was also golfing. It is unclear as to who won, depending on who you ask (ha-ha), but regardless of who wins, they love to golf together. The day was so great but a little hot...the cool evening air was very refreshing from sunset photos! It was just a beautiful sun shiny day (I apologize if that song is now stuck in your head)! Overall they had an amazing supportive wedding party and Nicole and Jairus are a great couple!
