Chrissy and Raymon had a clear vision: strip away all of the distractions so that they can be just the two of them. This is how they feel at their best, so an elopement in the remote wilderness just made sense. Sharing a love as deep and intentional as these two - who frequently write one another love letters - is nothing short of beautiful. Traveling from Holland meant a lot of long distance planning - including re-planning thanks to the G7 Summit - and made it necessary to have someone on the ground they could trust. Planning An Elopement - The Back Story

These two are a Tinder success story - it is 2025 after all! Chrissy and Raymon have a strong foundation built on their love for one another and their firm trust in their relationship. Having been through a lot together, Chrissy and Raymon know that together they can weather any storm that life delivers. After a few failed proposal attempts due to weather and unexpected trials, Raymon got the “yes” he was hoping for in a personal, intimate, and unplanned setting. “It has to go wrong a few times before it goes right,” shared Raymon. It was an easy yes for Chrissy who told us that Raymon always makes her feel so safe and allows for her to be completely herself. In perfect balance, Raymon is grateful for Chrissy’s care for everyone, in particular for him and her ability to keep him calm and focused.

The Secluded Intimate Kananaskis Elopement

An elopement was the perfect plan for these two who wanted to feel in their own bubble all day long. Basking in each other's energy and attention was the goal - and Blue Rock Ranch’s Air B’nB was the perfect setting for this elopement. (Shameless plug, did you know at Fly Free, we have a private Airbnb list we send to our couples, just one of the many perks of booking with us) Back to the adventure, Mother Nature came out in all her glory to deliver a stunning backdrop for this personal ceremony and unlike their proposal attempts put off by the rain, the wedding day was ripe with sunshine, despite threats of rain. Our team worked together with Chrissy and Raymon to bring their dream elopement to life. They chose to include videography in their package and we were able to help them with our gorgeous archway, secure the floral rentals, suggest the location for the ceremony as well as the post-ceremony picnic and photos, the cake baker Black Dog Bakery, and officiant as well - reducing stress and bringing the focus back to them the whole way. That's the kind of stress-free Kananaskis elopement you could have when you book our all-inclusive packages.

Less is more for Chrissy and Raymon and their wedding day was no different. The day went off without a hitch - apart from the marriage - and the love was palpable. Chrissy and Raymon started off their day just the way they wanted to with a delicious breakfast for two followed by a see-you-later while they went their separate ways to prepare for the ceremony. Raymon experienced the breathtaking experience of a first-look when Chrissy revealed her dress and look to him before the ceremony. From there it was like a free-flowing love letter with an incredibly personal ceremony - just the two of them. Our entire team was honoured to be there to witness the profound love and respect shared by Raymon and Chrissy.

Post-ceremony we took the newlyweds to a special location for a picnic surrounded by wildflowers. We’d be lying if we didn’t tell you that the words “so stinking cute” were uttered no less than a thousand times by our team as we witnessed the so stinking cute Chrissy and Raymon on their special day. Picnic was followed by portraits near Canmore and the views did not disappoint. We even found two adorable farm kittens to represent Chrissy and Raymon’s own kittens back home - Oscar and Pippa.
