Pine and Pond Wedding Venue

If you are on the hunt for the perfect outdoor wedding venue in Central Alberta, look no further. Pine and Pond wedding venue truly offers it all and is stunning I might add. I know there are tons of wedding venues in Alberta and it is overwhelming when you start the search but I'm here to help break down why this venue might be the perfect fit for your special day.

Outdoor Wedding Venues Alberta

This venue boasts of its beautiful outdoor space, there are a handful of wedding venues close to Calgary that have stunning properties but Pine and Pond offer a few unique features that you can check out in Hav and Jon's enchanted late August wedding. This venue is just over 2 hours north of Calgary or an hour and 20 minutes south of Edmonton, making it the perfect central Alberta venue for your special day.

Clear Tent Wedding Venue

If you have never considered a clear wedding tent, here's a list of why you should. It is hard to find venues that have clear tents but if you are looking to elevate the beauty of your wedding day then finding a venue with a clear tent is one way to do it.

1. Rainy Day Back up

While it is true that every tent can be used as a backup for a rainy day, clear tents let in more light than other tents. For most people this doesn't matter, but as your central Alberta photographers this helps us a ton and overall gives you nicer photos in return, as the natural light it lets in is more flattering than fake light from bulbs or just no light at all. I've only ever shot at Pine and Pond once in my 12 years of shooting where it rained and we had to move everything indoors.

2. Dancing Under the Lights

Think about your first dance, think about twirling under beautiful fairy lights and elegant chandeliers. Now, add the night sky and stars with that. While a clear tent doesn't fully give you the view of the stars, it offers the night sky, which makes a huge difference in your images.

3. Unhindered view of the Surroundings

Thankfully in Alberta, our summer days last forever! With the sun setting at 9 or 10 pm depending on the month you plan to get married in and if you are anything like me, you like to soak up every last moment of those beautiful rays. Having a clear tent lets you do that, far into your dances if you get married in the summer.

Pine and Pond Wedding Venue

On top of the reasons above, the staff at this venue is also outstanding and truly cares about you and your special day. If you are lucky enough to chat with Keith (the owner) you will understand the true blessing this family/venue is to have included in your wedding. You can check out their prices on the website and reach out to them if you have any questions, let them know you found them on a Fly Free blog.
