Samina was a bridesmaid in Kayleigh and Marlin's wedding last year at one of my favorite venues, Pine and Pond. I met Samina at their Sunflower engagement session when she came to take care of Willy, their puppy. She reached out looking for a wedding photographer as she had just gotten engaged. I've known her for a while now and was super excited to work with her. Samina is one of Kayleigh's best friends and has just a super awesome personality.

Engagement Session Ideas
After brainstorming for their engagement session, we decided on going to get ice cream at Village Ice Cream down in Brittania. Sean and Samina also brought their cute puppy along and this time Kayleigh watched their fur baby, named Laena. Laena is so cute and a well behaved rescue Husky! Who doesn't love cute photos with ice cream and don't worry, Laena got some ice cream as well, which was adorable, however, she was much more interested in eating her dad's then her own. Ha!
Engagement Photo Shoot Ideas
After finishing up some yummy ice cream we went down to the river, hung out at the beach and played in the water at sunset. It was SO beautiful! Sean and Samina popped some bubbly and toasted their engagement! They are a super fun and sweet couple who were willing to go along with all of my crazy ideas, which if you've been around of a while, you know I love! Needless to say, I am SUPER pumped for their wedding next year!
