Moraine Lake Shuttle
Leonie and Marc flew all the way from Germany which I was so excited about! I had been talking to Marc for a long time, prior to their engagement session. He was so excited about going to Moraine Lake. Of course, being from Germany, he was unaware of the restrictions that had been put in at the lake. If you’re wanting a photoshoot here, please know that it’s not as easy for everyone to get over there anymore. As of 2023, you can no longer drive your personal vehicle over to the lake, but must use the Moraine Lake shuttle, which needs to be booked in advance. Moraine Lake Proposal
Marc and Leonie have been together for 6 years, with a gap year in the middle, so 3 years this time round. They met each other again at a stop light after the gym one night, which is so stinking cute if you ask me. Originally, Marc was going to do a surprise proposal, but thought a bit more about Leonie and realized that she would want to be dressed up. He was having a difficult time coming up with a reason for her to get all glammed up without tipping her off. So he ended up proposing two days before and then we did their Moraine Lake proposal shoot. We kinda staged their proposal at the same spot that he actually proposed to Leonie. Even though we couldn't capture the surprise moment, it was still such a dreamy engagement session. They’re a super awesome couple and I loved hanging out with them. Two outfit changes is always on my list of tips, and just adds an extra element to your shoot. To which Leonie just changed in the bush, my kinda gal! If you’ve been around here long, you know that I love couples that are just down for an adventure! I cross my fingers that I might get to see them again for their wedding.
