Forgetmenot Pond Fall Wedding

Unlike most years, by mid October the leaves have all fallen, and the winds have turned cold! Lucky for Kaaty and Josh, this October has been much like the type of Fall I have always dreamed of! The fall colours were still out, and the wind was minimal for this beautiful lake side elopement.

If you have ever wondered how each wedding turns out so beautiful - the answer is Krystal the boss lady. She is the one behind these beautifully edited images, the timelines structured around sunset (IYKYK), and her flawless greens that reflect the beautiful scenery of the great outdoors! Without her skilled eye and attention to detail, days like this one wouldn't come together as beautiful as they do! I, Kait, love seeing how each wedding unfolds all while being effortlessly on schedule due to the planning that goes into the day ahead of time! If you would like to see more of my images, here is a link for you to check them out!

Mountain Wedding

Kaaty and Josh wanted to get married at the edge of one of their favourite places to visit in the summer – Forget-me-not-ponds. The couple and their children enjoy water activities during the summer here, and wanted to add another reason to the list as to why they love this location! If you are looking for a stunning mountain backdrop, Forget-me-not-ponds is a small body of water surrounded by the Rockies (I’m talking PERFECT mountain wedding back drops) – without having to set foot into the crowded tourist towns of Canmore or Banff! Truly, this location competes with everything you could have ever wanted from Banff and Canmore having the pond at their backs and the mountains adorning the back ground of each photo we took!

To help them celebrate in their wedding vows Kaaty and Josh had their family there to celebrate with them – including their 3 boys, of which their newest addition arrived only 1 month prior! For Kaaty having her boys there meant the whole world, and not only did they walk into the ceremony all together, but they also took part in every part of the ceremony they could! Their eldest brought their time capsule, their newest addition was the ring bearer and they all helped with the hand fasting ceremony! As you can tell, family means everything to them and it was such a beautiful and heartfelt way for Kaaty and Josh to remember their day.

Kananaskis Wedding Photographer

If you are considering a Kananaskis wedding, another great Bragg Creek venue option would be Folk Tree Lodge. Not only is this a quiet venue you have to yourself, but there is also lodging if your guests are from out of town! If you'd like to see another beautiful Bragg Creek wedding, here is another blog for you to check out! If you have any questions or want help in finding your perfect Wedding location feel free to contact Krystal here and we can start planning your amazing elopement together!
