This was the most amazing sunrise adventure session to date! There is nothing like waking up and getting on the road at 2:30 am, to head to the mountains for a sunrise photo shoot! With only two and half hours of sleep, we still super excited to head out to Kananaskis country for this epic adventure.
Mother Nature knew we were coming because we were met with perfect weather, gorgeous lighting and still calm water. Literally couldn't have asked for a more picturesque morning, other then for the sun to peek out, but really it could have been worse, it looked absolutely dreamy. The reflection of the mountains and trees on the water was just breathtaking! The greenery of the forest provided such a beautiful background of colour, allowing their attire and flower colours to blend seamlessly.
I have known Amanda and Shawn for years so this was a nice, easy and relaxed shoot. Oh, and did I mention Amanda is a professional model who has modeled around the world? They were a dream to photograph to say the least. With a couple who needs no direction and the perfect backdrop, they made my job too easy. Our dream team joined us on our adventure. Hair and makeup effortlessly by House Of Beauty, and Adventure Floral provided the stunning flowers, boutonniere, and their sweet fur baby Odin's floral wreath.
We love doing adventure sessions and adore sunrise and sunset shoots, they are so gorgeous. We had such an amazing time and really, the pictures & video speak for themselves. This trip was every bit worth the lack of sleep! Thank you to our whole team for making this epic adventure possible!
