After setting the scene, Garrett proposed, followed by a celebratory dinner at Melissa’s favourite restaurant. Of course, she said yes. It’s important to note that they are both big foodies.

Melissa and Garrett celebrated with an intimate gathering at a cozy Airbnb in Bragg Creek, surrounded by 11 of their closest friends and family. With rich emerald tones and a beautiful wood setting, they exchanged vows on the back porch, where they also shared their first look.

The day was centered around connection and quality time, with lawn games on the deck and a private chef creating an incredible multi-course meal. Between courses, they slipped away for sunset portraits just as a dramatic storm rolled in, resulting in stunning photos with moody skies, rain, and even a rainbow by the river.

They ended the evening back at the cabin with dinner, a cozy indoor first dance, and a relaxed celebration filled with popcorn, laughter, and the people who matter most, making it a truly intimate and meaningful day.
