You know those couples who are together forever and everyone pesters them with the standard "are you two ever going to get married?" Well Chelsey and Adam had been together for TEN years before tying the knot on their tenth anniversary. Their day will always have extra special meaning. They eloped in the magnificent Banff National Park overlooking the most spectacular view!
The drive out we had so much rain we were hydroplaning but by the time we got there it was slightly overcast with a fairytale looking fog in the distance. We had just a sprinkle of rain and the sun even peaked out making for gorgeous lighting for pictures.
We did a 'first look' at Cascade Ponds which is a sweet little picnic area with trails and a pond you can walk around. Chelsey and Adam brought their pups with them, who of course were decked out in wedding attire with purple accents. The couple sat on a beautiful thick blanket and had a picnic with a charcuterie board from Graze Always that was puppy friendly, so they could share with their fur babies. The many vibrant purple accents stood out so nicely against the white in the bouquet of flowers and Chelsey's stark white dress. Chelsey also had purple shoes and jewelry, the dog leashes and Adam's boutonniere was purple and all looked so wonderful together.
We headed to a lookout point overlooking Banff which had the most stunning scenery. Chelsey and Adam exchanged vows with snow tipped mountains in the background appearing to touch to the clouds with water running in the valley completely surrounded by trees. The couple exchanged personal vows that were hand written in beautiful booklets by Mountain Grove Studio which is such a sweet momento.
Something super special and cool about Chelsey and Adam is that they chose a new last name together. They are big in the gaming world and chose a name that they used in gaming that is meaningful to them. I think it's so cool they both get to change their last name.
So congratulations to Mr. and Mrs. Lowell, we couldn't be more happy for you and we are so pleased we got to capture all these beautiful moments that have started your new journey together as a married couple.
