Brad and Stephanie’s beautiful engagement session was shot by our associate Meghan, in downtown Calgary, at Prince’s Island Park. Being a Calgary photographer, it is always exciting to get the perfect pictures showcasing some of Calgary’s local favorites, such as the Peace Bridge. The snow glistened in the sunshine, causing a gorgeous snowy scene, and highlighting Brad and Stephanie’s blissful smiles. Capturing the love and joy between this fun couple was not difficult at all, as they shared some of their favorite activities together in their pictures.
Brad and Stephanie met online, and I am convinced that they are made for each other! Both are quick to smile, lots of fun, make each other laugh easily and are very comfortable together. Meghan asked Stephanie and Brad which activities they like best to do together. They shared that they enjoy going for walks, watching Shakespeare in the Park, Folk Festival, concerts, and dinners together. But, due to the craziness going on, they had to cancel some of their plans this past summer and ended up enjoying more hiking and camping trips, which led to their engagement.
Brad proposed to Stephanie while on a hiking trip at Writing-on-Stone Provincial Park in Country Park, Alberta. Brad popped the question and asked Stephanie if she would marry him. He asked her while he stood on top of a hoodoo in front of the most perfect sunset. And who could say no to such a romantic gesture?!
Stephanie and Brad are very much looking forward to being husband and wife. They remain optimistic about having their family and friends at their wedding, although there are some current restrictions, but you know what they say, “love conquers all.” We loved having the opportunity to work with Brad and Stephanie and can't wait for their wedding day.
