Kira and Chad planned to be married in Water Valley at a friends property this year but when things went a little crazy in the world they had to rethink their whole plans. They decided to have an intimate elopement in beautiful Kananaskis Country instead.
We did a first look and the ceremony at Lusk Creek which is a special little spot to Kira and Chad where they have picnics, play board games and even hang out in the winter.
The ceremony was held between big trees in a little wooded area with the sun shining down on them. Kira wore a gorgeous dress that was lace with little silver accents and Chad wore suspenders and a fedora with a little feather, they looked so sharp. Kira's super cute nephews, dressed in plaid shirts and fedora's, held little wooden boxes that held the couples rings. Their rings were made in the Ukraine and unfortunately were made a size too small so they wear their wedding rings on necklaces until they can have them resized and exchanged those during their ceremony, which actually made for some special photos.
Photos were taken in two locations in Kananaskis. The first location was at a pond surrounded by big lush trees and mountains in the background where our fun couple had no problem taking off their shoes and getting in the water for some stunning photos. At the second look out location the sun was starting to set and we got some amazing shots of our couple with their best man and maid of honour just playing, being goofy and being in the moment.
We are so grateful you chose us to capture your beautiful elopement and give you everlasting memories. It was such a fun, care free, gorgeous day and we can't wait for you to see yourselves looking so lovely in all your photos and to relive all the emotions from your special day.
